Name of ditch or other structure: <br /> <br />PIEDRA RIVER <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Point of diversion: the natural stream channel from Highway 160 in Sec. 8, <br />N.M.P.M. as the upstream terminus & Navajo Reservoi~ in Sec. 32, T.33N., <br />as the downstream terminus; being a distance of approximately 15 miles, <br />San Juan River watershed. <br /> <br />T.34N., R.4W, <br />R.SW., N.M.P.M. <br />Piedra. River <br /> <br />4. Means of diversion: gravity flow in stream <br /> <br />5. Type of use: to insure the preservation of " a minimum ~tream level to protect the natural <br />.- "environment to a reasonable degree. <br />6. Amount of water: 70.0 c.f.s. ABSOLUTE FOR HIGH PERtOD & 40.0 c.f.s. ABSOLUTE FOR <br />LOW PERIOD. THE PERIOD OF FLOWS ARE DEFINED AS BEGlNNING MARCH 1st & ENDING AUGUST <br />31st FOR THE HIGH FLOW PERIOD & BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 1st THROUGH FEBRUARY 29th FOR <br />THE LOW FLOW PERIOD. <br /> <br />APPLICANT WILL INSTALL AND MAINTAIN MEASURING DEVICES A~ RECORDERS AND KEEP PROPER <br />RECORDS AS REQUIRED BY THE COLORADO DIVISION OF WATER ~SOURCES. <br /> <br />APPLICANT'S RIGHTS ARE SUBJECT TO ALL SENIOR RIGHTS AS hRE NOW OR WILL HEREAFTER BE <br />DETERMINED BY LAW. <br /> <br />7. Priority of water right: <br /> <br />March 14, 1979 <br /> <br />The priority here awarded shall be junior to all prioritie~ awarded in previous years.
