The legal description of the structure: <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the headwaters at <br />latitude 37 deg. 56'54"N and longitude 105 deg. <br />33'24"W as the upstream terminus and extending to the <br />confluence with an unnamed tributary at latitude 37 <br />deg. 55'47"N and longitude 105 deg. 39'13"W as the <br />downstream terminus, being a distance of approxi- <br />mately 5.9 miles. This segment can be located on the <br />Crestone Peak and Crestone U.S.G.S. quadrangles. <br /> <br />For administrative purposes only, the Division Engineer has <br />translated these legal descriptions of the stream termini into <br />approximate protracted section, township, and range location from <br />U.S.G.S. mapping as follows: <br /> <br />upstream terminus being in the SW/4 NE/4, sec. 21, <br />T24S, R73W, 6th P.M.; downstream terminus being in <br />the SW/4 SW/4, sec. 33, T43N, R12E, N.M.P.M., or, in <br />the alternative, SE/4 SE/4 NW/4, sec. 22, TIN, RIE, <br />Baca Grant Survey, 2100' FWL, 2500' FNL. <br /> <br />8.
