The statements in the Application are true. <br /> <br />2. The name of the stream involved is Meadow Creek. ~ <br /> <br />3. The name and address of the Claimant: Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board; 1313 Sherman Street, Suite 721; Denver, Colorado 80203. y/ <br /> <br />4. The source of the water is ~~adow Creek, tributary to the Piney~ <br />River, tributary to the Colorado River. . <br /> <br />5. Legal description of the stream segment through which an instream <br />flow is claimed: The natural stream channel from headwaters in the vicinity <br />of lat. 39045'53" N., long. 106024'45" W. as the upstream terminus and ~ <br />extending to the confluence with East Meadow Creek '!l't lat. 39043'50" N., long. <br />106027' 02" W. as the downstream termiJlus, being a di stance of approximately <br />3.9 miles. For administrative purposes only, the Division Engineer for Water <br />Division 5 has translated such legal descripti9ns into approximate protracted <br />section, township, and range locations from U~S.G.S. mapping as follows: ~ <br />Upstream terminus in the NW/4NW/4 S. 36,c T. 3 S.. R. 81 W. 6th P.M., more l'fbm <br />specifically at a point whence the SW Corner of S. 30, T. 3 S., R. 81 W. bears ~~5 <br />S. 89030' E. a distance of 27,850 ft.; downstream terminus in the NW/4NW/4 S. O~ <br />10, T. 4 S., R. 81 W. 6th P.M., more specifically at a point whence the SW <br />Corner of S. 34, T. 4 S., R. 81 W. bears S. 04030' W. a distance of 27,250 ft. <br />in former Water District 52. <br /> <br />6. The use of the water is to appropriate such minimum stream flows as ~ <br />are required to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. <br />
