The legal description of the structure: <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from headwaters in the <br />vicinity of latitude 40'46'08" N, longitude 105'46'00" W as the <br />upstream terminus and extending to the confluence with Cache La <br />Poudre River in the SE1/4 SW1/4, Section 30, Township 9 North, <br />Range 74 West, 6th P.M., Larimer County as the downstream <br />terminus, being a distance of approximately 5.1 miles. This <br />segment can be located on the Deadman, Boston Peak, Kinikinik <br />U.S.G.S. quadrangles. <br /> <br />For administrative purposes only, the Division <br />Engineer for Water Division 1 has translated the segment thus <br />described into approximate protracted section, township, and <br />range locations from U.S.G.S. mapping as follows: Upstream <br />terminus in the SE1/4 SE1/4, Section 2, Township 9 North, Range <br />75 West, 6th P.M. <br /> <br />4. The source of water: <br /> <br />Roaring Creek <br /> <br />5. The date of appropriation: <br /> <br />November 8, 1985 <br /> <br />6. The amount of water: <br /> <br />4.0 cubic feet per second - absolute <br /> <br />7. The use of the water: <br /> <br />To maintain such minimum flows as are required to <br />preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree pursuant <br />to sections 37-92-102 and 103, C.R.S. (1973 & 1986 Supp.). No <br />diversion of the water right herein will be made from the <br />natural stream channel. <br />
