The legal description of the structure: <br /> <br />The natural stream channel from the confluence <br />with Killpecker Creek at latitude 40'48'52" N, longitude 105' <br />42'33" W as the upstream terminus and extending to the <br />confluence with Panhandle Creek in the SE1/4 NW1/4, Section 12, <br />Township 10 North, Range 74 West, 6th P.M., Larimer County as <br />the downstream terminus, being a distance of approximately 5.0 <br />miles. This segment can be located on the South Bald Mountain <br />U.S.G.S. quadrangle. <br /> <br />For administrative purposes only, the Division <br />Engineer for Water Division 1 has translated the segment thus <br />described into approximate protracted section, township, and <br />range locations from U.S.G.S. mapping as follows: Upstream <br />terminus in the SE1/4, Section 20, Township 10 North, Range 74 <br />West, 6th P.M.; downstream terminus in the SE1/4 NW1/4, Section <br />12, Township 10 North, Range 74 West, 6th P.M. <br /> <br />4. The source of water: <br /> <br />The North Fork Cache La Poudre River <br /> <br />5. The date of appropriation: <br /> <br />November 8, 1985 <br /> <br />6. The amount of water: <br /> <br />5.0 cubic feet per second - absolute <br /> <br />7. The use of the water: <br /> <br />To maintain such minimum flows as are required to <br />preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree pursuant <br />to sections 37-92-102 and 103, C.R.S. (1973 & 1986 Supp.). No <br />diversion of the water right herein will be made from the <br />natural stream channel. <br />
