RULING OF REFEREE

IN CHAFFEE COUNTY.

Pursuant to Order of Referral filed and entered in
the above case on July 23, 1979, the undersigned Water Referee,
having investJ.gated the matter of the Application on file herein,
hereby makes the following findings and ruling thereon:

FINDINGS OF FACT

. 1. That the said Application was filed on July 23, 1979.
2. That the Water Clerk caused pub1ication of such filing
as provided by statute; that the time for filing Statements of
Opposition expired on the last day of September, 1979, and that
such a statement was filed by the United States of America on
September 24, 1979.
3. That on September 28, 1979, an ftmendment to said state-
ment was filed.
4. That .on October 17, 1979, the undersigned Water Referee
re-referred the case to the Water Judge pursuant to the authority
granted the said Referee in C.R.S. 1973, 37-92-303(2).
5. That a Stipulation was entered into jointly by the
United States of America and the Colorado Water Conservation
Board, Applicant, and that said Stipulation was filed on October
