IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED AND DECREED: Name and address of claimant: The Colorado Water Conservation Board 1313 Sherman Street, Room 721 Denver, CO 80203 WATER RIGHT Name of natural stream: East River. Location: Legal description of beginning and end points of minimum stream flow claimed: The natural stream channel from the confluence with Alkali Creek at lat. 38 deg. 43'10"N, long. 106 deg. 51'06"W as the upstream terminus and extending to the con- fluence with the Taylor River at lat. 38 deg. 39'50"N, long. 106 deg. 50'3S"W as the downstream terminus being a distance of approximately 12.8 miles. This segment can be located on the Almont U.S.G.S. quadrangle(s). Priority date: June 3, 1982 provided, however, that this right shall be junior to all priorities awarded in cases filed prior to 1983, and otherwise junior as provided in section 37-92-306, C.R.S. (1973). Amount of water claimed: Instream flow of 50.0 c.f.s. -- summer (May I-Sept. 30); 27.0 c.f.s. -- winter (Oct. I-Apr. 30). Use of water: To maintain such minimum flows as are required to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree pursuant to sections 37-92-102 and 103, C.R.S. (1973 & 1986 Supp.). No diversion of the water right herein will be made from the natural stream channel. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the applicant shall install and maintain such water measurement devices, recording devices, con- tent gauges and inlet and outlet measurement and recording devices, as the case may be, as are deemed essential by the Office of the State Engineer, and the same shall be installed and operated in accordance with instructions from said office. -2-
