Administration: For the stream segments in an unsurveyed
area, the Division Engineer has determined for administrative
purposes that the approximate legal description of the downstream
point of the instream flow reach as protracted from U.S.G.S. map-
ping is as follows: the SWj4 SEj4 S2 T1N R76W 6PM, Grand County,
Colorado.

5. Use of the water is for instream flows to preserve the
natural environment to a reasonable degree.

6. The date of initiation of appropriation is November 27,

1990.

7. The amount of water claimed is: 2.0 c.f.s. (April 15 -
September 30); 1.0 c.f.s. (October 1 - April 14), both absolute.

8. The water was first applied to the above beneficial use
on November 27, 1990, by action of the Colorado water Conserva-
tion Board under the provisions of C.R.S. 37-92-102(3),
37-92-103 (3), (4), (10).

The Referee rules that this application should be granted,
and an absolute decree for 2.0 c.f.s. (April 15 - September 30)
and 1.0 c.f.s. (October 1 - April 14), is hereby awarded for the
purpose of maintaining an instream flow to preserve the natural
environment to a reasonable degree on Strawberry Creek between
the upstream and downstream points as described in paragraph 4
above, with an appropriation date of November 27, 1990. The
Applicant shall install and maintain such measuring devices and
maintain such records as the Division Engineer may require for
administration of this right.

It is accordingly ORDERED that this Ruling shall be filed
with the Water Clerk subject to Judicial review.

It is further ORDERED that a copy of this Ruling shall be
filed with the Division 5 Engineer and the State Engineer.
