The statements in the Application are true. <br /> <br />2. The name of the stream involved is Drowsy Water Creek. / <br />I <br /> <br />3. Th~ name and address of the Claimant: Colorado Water Conservation / <br />Board; 1313 I Sherman Street, Suite 721; Denver, Colorado 80203. <br /> <br />4. Th~ source of the water is Drowsy Water Creek, tributary to the ,,/ <br />Colorado Ri~er. ' <br /> <br />5. Legal description of the stream segment through which an instream <br />flow is claimed: The natural stream channel from headwaters in the vicinity <br />of lat. 40010'02" N., long. 106005'22" W. as the upstream terminus and ../ <br />extending to the confluence with the Colorado River in the SW/4SW/4 S. 28, T. <br />2 N., R. 77,W. 6th P.M. as the downstream terminus, being a distance of <br />approximately 6.6 miles. For administrative purposes only, the Division <br />Engineer for Water Division 5 has translated such legal descriptions into ~ <br />approximate 'protracted section, township, and range locations from U.S.G.S. U;q~ <br />mapping as follows: Upstream terminus in the SE/4NE/4 S. 2, T. 2 N., R. 78 W. ()~ <br />6th P.M., more specificallY at a point whence the SE Corner of said Section 2 <br />bears N. 14oi30' W. a distance of 3,700 ft. in former Water District 51. ' <br /> <br />6. The' use of the water is to appropriate such minimum stream flows as/ <br />are required to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. <br /> <br />7.
