Legal description of the stream segment: The natural stream <br />channel from headwaters in the NW/4 SE/4 S2 TION R75 6th P.M. as <br />the upstream terminus and extending to the confluence with the <br />North Fork Cache La Poudre River in the SW/4 NE/4 S12 T10N R74W <br />6th P.M. as the downstream terminus, being a distance of approxi- <br />mately 8.6 miles. This segment can be located on the Deadman, <br />Eaton Reservoir and South Bald Mountain U.S.G.S. quadrangles. <br /> <br />3. The source of water: Panhandle Creek, a tributary of the Cache <br />la poudre River. <br /> <br />4. Date of initiation of appropriation: November 8, 1985. <br /> <br />5. Amount of water claimed: Instream flow of 1.5 c.f.s. abso- <br />lute. <br /> <br />6. The use of the water: To maintain such minimum stream flows <br />as are required to preserve the natural environment to a reason- <br />able degree pursuant to S 37-92-102 and 103 C.R.S. (1973 and 1988 <br />Supp.). No diversions of the water right herein will be made <br />from the natural stream channel. <br /> <br />7. The applicant shall install and maintain such measuring <br />devices and maintain such records as the Division Engineer may <br />require for administration of this right. <br /> <br />8. The priority herein awarded said Panhandle Creek instream <br />flow was filed in the water court in 1985 and shall be adminis- <br />tered as having been filed in that year; and shall be junior to <br />all priorities filed in previous years.
