<br />Draft 4 <br /> <br />~tion 6 Gene.ral Provisions <br /> <br />6.1 Lands to Which These Re.glllations Apply. These regulations <br />apply to all lands within the Town of Frisco which are in <br />areas of Special Flood Hazards. <br /> <br />6.2 Basis for Est"hlishing the. Areas of SJ;!ecial Flood Ha7.ards. <br />The l\reas of Special Flood Hazards identified by the Federal <br />Insurance Adninistration is a scientific and engineering <br />report entitled "Flood Insurance Study for Frisco", dated <br />, with accomp:mying Flood Insurance Rate Map <br />is hereby adopted and declared to be a part of 'this Ordinance. <br /> <br />The Flood Insurance Study is on file at the Summit County <br />Planning Office, ; Breckenridge, Colorado, and <br />the Frisco Town Hall, One Main Street, Frisco, Colorado. <br /> <br />6.3 Canpl iance. No structure or land shall hereafter be <br />constructed, located, extended, converted or altered without <br />full canpliance with the terms of this ordinance and other <br />applicable regulations. <br /> <br />6.4 Abrogation and Gre.ater Re.strictions. This ordinance is not <br />intended to repeal, abrogate, or impair any existing easement, <br />covenants, deed restrictions, or existing zoning or <br />subdivision regulations. Where this ordinance and other <br />ordinances conflict or overlap, whichever imposes the IOOre <br />stringent restrictions shall prevail. Nothing in these <br />regulations shall be construed as exempting an applicant for a <br />Floodplain Developnent Permit, as defined in Section -' <br />fran ayother requirement of this jurisdiction or fran other <br />state or federal laws and regulations. In partiCular, the <br />requirements of these regulations shall be supplementary to <br />the requirements of the Zoning Regulations of the Town of <br />Frisco, and said regulations shall apply in all cases. <br /> <br />6.5 Inte.qlretation. In the interpretation and application of this <br />ordinance, all provisions shall be: <br /> <br />a. considered as miniJTa.llll requirement; and, <br />b. liberally construed in favor of the governing body; and, <br />c. deaned neither to limit nor repeal any other powers <br />granted under state statutes. <br /> <br />Page 10 <br />
