WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency completed a floodplain
information report entitled "Flood Insurance Study, City of Englewood, Colorado, Arapahoe
County", dated December 15, 1979; and

WHEREAS, said report includes detailed hydrology and detailed and approximate
floodplain delineations for Little Dry Creek, Big Dry Creek and the South Platte River within the
incorporated portions of City of Englewood, as they were on December 15, 1979; and

WHEREAS, said report served as the effective floodplain information for the City of
Englewood for purposes of the National Flood Insurance Program from December 15, 1979 until
April 17, 1989 ; and

WHEREAS, said report contains detailed floodplain information for the following stream
reaches, as listed in Table 2 below:
