<br />Fort Luptoy, arId the Tc,wns of Gilcr"'est, Hudson, La Salle and ~'latteville.

<br />Whereas all of these entities, with the exception of Evans, tlBve been
<br />advised by the Colot~ado Depar~tr~ent of Health to ta~(e actl'~ns to
<br />alleviate present or potential water quality probler~5 due to
<br />contamination of groundwater used for municipal purposes. EvaYls shar~es
<br />the problem of poor quality groundwater, but at pt~esent contracts with
<br />the City of Greeley for water.

<br />Whereas these six entities desire
<br />solution to their water probler~s.
<br />economies of scale resulting from
<br />provision may lead to alleviation
<br />cost than if solutions are sought
<br />
<br />to explore the potential of a joint

<br />Whereas the Consultant has submitted a Statement e,f Qualifications and
<br />prope,sal regarding the preparation of a Water Feasibility Study for the
<br />above stated Municipalities.

<br />Whereas the Statement of Qualification and proposal are incorporated as
<br />par..t of t his ce,nt Y'act doculllent by t~efet"ence.

<br />Whereas the Consultant, after substantial evaluation, has been selected
<br />to perform such ser.vices required for the Water Feasibility Study.
<br />
<br />Now, ther.efclr~e, in consider~at ioy! c.f the pr~orllises arId rllutual benefits
<br />which will accrue to the parties hereto in carrying out the terMS of
<br />this agreement,' it is mutually understood and agreed as follows:
