<br />CAMP DRESSER & McKEE INC. <br /> <br />SUM11ARY OF WORK FOR THREE COLORADO COMMUNITIES <br /> <br />LAMAR : <br /> <br />Mapping - Entire city of Lamar is mapped with 1.7 miles of the <br />Arkansas River and 2.0 miles of Willow Creek (See <br />attached USGS maps). <br /> <br />Field Recon.- This was performed by CDM for all bridges and <br />floodplains for the Arkansas River and Willow Creek. <br /> <br />Hydrology - Hydrology was developed by the Corps of Engineers in <br />1976 and checked by CDM (Review Survey for Water <br />Resources. Development, Lamar, Colorado and vicinity, <br />Hydrology (Revised)). <br /> <br />Hydraulics - 1.7 miles of detailed analysis for the 10, 50, 100 and <br />500 year flooding events along the Arkansas River was <br />determined by CDM. No floodway was calculated. 2.0 miles <br />of detailed analysis along Willow Creek for the 10, 50, 100 <br />and 500 year flooding events were calculated. A 1.0 foot <br />floodway was also computed. <br /> <br />Profiles - 2.0 miles of Willow Creek was drafted on mylar for FEMA <br />and 1.7 miles along the Arkansas River was drafted. <br /> <br />Floodplain Maps - 2.0 miles of Willow Creek was drafted on mylar <br />showing the 500 and 100 year flood boundaries. The 1.0 <br />foot floodway is also shown. 1.7 miles of the Arkansas <br />River was drafted showing the 100 and 500 year flood <br />boundaries in the corporate limits (see USGS map). <br /> <br />Report Text - A brief description of hydrologic and hydraulic <br />methods used is described. Also a brief flood history <br />is included which highlights major floods. <br /> <br />DEL NORTE: <br /> <br />Mapping - The north half of the Town is a topographic map with <br />2' contours which includes the Rio Grande River. <br />Approximately 1.0 mile of the river is mapped (See <br />attached USGS map). <br /> <br />Field Reco~ - This was performed by CDM for all bridges and flood- <br />plains along the Rio Grande River. <br />
