These maps were based on <br />statistical analyses of stream gage records. relatively widely <br />spaced field-surveyed cross sections, hand calculations of '~ <br />flood depths at those cross-sections, and a field review of the <br />preliminary floodplain delineations. In Costilla County <br />portions of the Rio Grande, Culebra Creek, and Rito Seco were <br />studied. The delineations for the Rio Grande have been <br /> <br />-2- <br />
