Transmitted herewith is the final report for the Slaughterhouse
Gulch, Major Drainageway Planning Study. The planning report
and drawings have been bound into one volume. The submittal
of this report represents the completion of our planning agree-
ment for this project.

We feel the plan put forth in this report will be of great
benefit to the City and its constituents, particularly those
along Slaughterhouse Gulch. The plan actually serves as a
basis for implementing City wide flood control management
efforts.

We commend the City of Littleton, the Denver Regional Council
of Governments and the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment for the thoughtfulness in recognizing the need for the
study and the cooperation displayed in funding and carrying
out the project. Special appreciation is extended to yourself,
Mr. Bill Brookshire and City staff for the assistance provided
in the preparation of this report.

tion of the proposed plan.
