This floodpiain information report for the reaches of the South Arkansas

River (Little River) and Poncha Creek located in the vicinity of the Town of

Poncha Springs was prepared by Water Resources Consultants, Inc. of Denver,

Colorado. The parties requesting the study included the Town of Poncha Springs,

Chaffee County, and the Colorado Water Conservation Board.

This study was authorized by the Colorado Water Conservation Board

at the joint request of the Town of Poncha Springs and Chaffee County.

Specific tasks were performed according to the terms of the contract

dated Septermber 15, 1977, between the Colorado Water Conservation Board

and Water Resources Consultants, Inc.
