The Flood Insurance Rate Map contains approximate <br />floodplain information for the Middle Fork of the South Platte River within Fairplay. <br /> <br />We request that CWCB staff review the Flood Insurance Rate Map for desiguation and approval at the <br />CWCB's regular meeting scheduled for September 21-22, 1998, We would like for CWCB staff to discuss <br />with town officials tile information shown on the Flood Insurance Rate Map and conduct a field <br />examination of tile areas subject to 100-year flooding within our corporate limits. Based on the findings <br />of those discussions and of the field examination, we request that the approximate floodplain information <br />contained in the Flood Hazard Boundary Map be designated by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board. <br /> <br />Please call the above number if you have questions about our request for desiguation and approval, <br /> <br />
