<br />In portions of the i:1~1l reach of the Sar. "~i9uel, the 500 year <br />flood crest does overflow the channel banks. Housing located be- <br />tween Station 84+40 and 102+75 would be ,lithin the 500 year floodvlay. <br />Other structures within the 500 year floodway are the first five <br />River Ponds located below the powerhouse and warehouse. Also, the <br />Main Street bridge would be overtopped by the 500 year event. <br /> <br />No mill structures are within the 500 year floodway. The cross <br />sections in the Appendix show the relationship of the offices, ware- <br />house and "A" Plant to the flood crest elevation. <br /> <br />4.0 CONCLUSIONS <br /> <br />A routing of the 500 year frequency flood through the San Miguel <br />river channel has indicated that no mill structures in t:',e "P," <br />Plant are directly affected by the flood waters. The Clue Ranch <br />Ponds and Atkinson Creek Disposal Area are above the 500-year flood <br />crest. The River Ponds are above the 100-year floodway. <br /> <br />The Main Street bridge and the county bridge across the San Miguel, <br />along with some UCC housing would be impacted by the 500-year event. <br /> <br />12 <br />
