This information is shown on the Drawings or in the soils borings attached for the <br />convenience of the bidders. There is no guarantee, either expressed or implied, that the conditions <br />indicated are representative of those actually existing throughout the project, Or any part of it, or that <br />unforeseen developments may occur. The boring logs are part of a report prepared by the <br />CTLfThompson, the Project Soils Consultant. The report is available at the offices of the Urban <br />Drainage and Flood Control District for study by prospective bidders and the Contractor. During <br />construction, a copy of the soils report will also be available through the Engineer. <br /> <br />The inclusion of the boring logs and utility information including, without limitation, utility location and <br />size in the construction drawings shall not be construed to be a waiver of the Contractor's obligation to <br />inspect the soils conditions and utility information himself before submitting a bid. By submitting a bid. <br />the Contractor acknowledges that he has satisfied himself as to the nature of work including, but not <br />restricted to, the conditions affecting handling and storage of materials, disposal of excess material, and <br />level and amount groundwater. There shall be no additional compensation for underground or soils <br />conditions different from those shown on the test logs, nor additional compensation as a result of utility <br />information. including. without limitation, utility location and size different from those shown of the <br />Drawings. <br /> <br />There shall be no additional monetary compensation even for unusual physical conditions at the size <br />differing materially from those ordinarily encountered and generally recognized as inherent in work of <br />the character provided in the Contract, and which were not discoverable by a reasonable investigation or <br />knowledge ofthe site. <br />
