PERMIT PROCESSING <br />(Time to complete the task: 15 minutes) <br /> <br />Purpose <br /> <br />Review your organization and procedures to handle plan checks, building permits, and <br />building inspections for repairs and rebuilding. <br /> <br />Materials <br /> <br />. Handout F. Damage Assessment and Handout 1. Policies for Damaged Buildings <br />. Base map with information from Tasks A-I <br />. Existing plan check and building permit processing procedures <br /> <br />Steps <br /> <br />1. Based on your estimates of the number of damaged buildings (Handout F) and <br />policies for damaged buildings (Handout 1), estimate the number of building permit <br />applications you expect for repairs and rebuilding.
