Town of Otis. Colorado. Washinqton County, dated August 18, 1985, in the report entitled Town of Otis Master Drainaqe and Flood Studv, dated May 1986, and on the map entitled Project Layout. Drainaqe and Floodplain Improvements, dated January 1988. The Flood Insurance Rate Map, the Master Drainaqe and Flood Study, and the Project Layout map contain approximate floodplain information for Southwest Drainage and the Northern Drainage within Otis, which mayor may not be representative of some of the flood hazards in Otis. We request that CWCB staff review the Flood Insurance MaQ, the Master Drainaqe and Flood Study, and the Project Layout map for possible designation and approval at the CWCB's regular meeting scheduled for May 24-25, 1999. We would like for CWCB staff to examine in the field and discuss with town officials the information shown on the Flood Insurance Map, the Master Drainage and Flood Study, and the Project Layout map. Subject to the findings of those' discussions, we request that the approximate floodplain information contained in the Flood Insurance Rate MaD, as refined with or replaced by selected information from the Master Drainaqe and Flood Study and the proiect Layout map, be designated by the Colorado Water Conservation Board.
