<br />FOREWORD <br /> <br />The Implementation Package provides practical procedures for the inspection <br />and rating of various types of highway culverts. These procedures should be <br />of interest to hydraulic, bridge, and maintenance engineers, technicians and <br />inspectors. This manual is a supplement to the Bridge Inspector's Training <br />Manual and was prepared in accordance with its procedures and rating systems. <br /> <br />Copies of the manual are being distributed to FHWA Region and Division <br />offices, and to each State highway agency for use by their engineers and <br />inspectors. Additional copies of the manual can be obtained from the <br />Superintendent of Documents, U. S.
