<br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />the intersection, spilling into Bear Canyon Creek and the <br />right overbank of Boulder Creek to the east of Foothills <br />Parkway, Analysis has shown that most of the water flows to <br />the north across Arapahoe Avenue combining with flows in the <br />main channel before passing under the Foothills Parkway <br />bridge. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The previous discussion applies to the definition of the Base <br />Section (16.1) for use in computing separate backwater <br />curves for Boulder Creek (BCSC) and the Research Park <br />(EXIST/AS-BUILT). Multiple runs using various definitions of <br />section 16.1 showed that upstream conditions were fairly <br />independent of the base section. The creek spills <br />approximately the same amount along the split flow weir, and <br />the profile through the Research Park remains the same above <br />the first few sections regardless of the base section. This pathway consists of a <br />10-foot wide, reinforced concrete slab, built using modern <br />construction techniques with attention to sub-surface <br />conditions. Riprap armoring was placed where a majority of <br />flows enter the site from Boulder Creek just above the lower <br />Arapahoe Bridge (see construction drawings). The drop <br />structure at the west end of the site is also armored to <br />resist erosion as flood flows are concentrated at this point. <br />The UCBRP will provide perpetual maintenance for the entire <br />Wetlands Area. <br /> <br />In conclusion, every effort has been made to define the <br />effects of the construction on the previously published <br /> <br />Page 12 <br /> <br />Love &.
