Acknowledgment of the Engineer's visit to the site of the project and <br />interview with the Client. <br />4. Nature, extent, and character of the project, the location thereof, and the <br />time limitations. <br />5. Services to be performed by the Consulting Engineer. (Include here the <br />applicable services required, from Section II Classification of Engineer- <br />ing Services.) <br />6. Services to be performed by the Ciient. (Include here the applicable <br />services required, from Section II Classification of Engineering Ser- <br />vices.) <br />7. Statement that design drawings and specifications are instruments of <br />service and remain the property of the Consulting Engineer, unless speci- <br />fically agreed to the contrary. <br />8. Provisions for the termination of the Engineer's services before final <br />completion of his work. <br />9. Compensation for services performed by the Consulting Engineer, in- <br />cluding times and methods of payments on account, interim payments, <br />and final payment in full settlement (see Section V). <br />10. Provisions for interest on delayed payments. <br />11. Additional compensation: for redesign, after approval of preliminary <br />phase documents; for change in scope of project; for preparation of alter- <br />nate designs. drawings, and construction documents; for delays causing <br />expense to the Consulting Engineer, etc. <br />12.
