<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />or denying the permit application. <br /> <br />(g) A copy of the permit, if issued. <br /> <br />1-405 Approval or Denial of Permit Application. <br /> <br />(1) If the permit authority finds that there is not <br />sufficient information concerning any material <br />feature of a proposed development or activity, the <br />permit authority may deny the application or it <br />may continue the hearing until the additional <br />information has been received. However, no such <br />continuance may exceed sixty (60) days unless <br />agreed to by the applicant. <br /> <br />(2) The permit authority shall approve an application <br />for a permit to engage in development in an area <br />of state interest or for the conduct of an activ- <br />ity of state interest if the proposed development <br />or activity complies with the provisions of the <br />regulations governing such area or activity. If <br />the proposed development does not comply with such <br />regulations and with the master plan for the area, <br />the permit shall be denied. <br /> <br />(3) The permit authority conducting a hearing pursuant <br />to this section shall state, in writing, reasons <br />for its decision, and its findings and conclusions. <br /> <br />(4) The permit authority shall reach a decision on a <br />permit application within 120 days after the com- <br />pletion of the permit hearing, or the permit shall <br />be deemed approved. <br /> <br />1-406 Combined Designation and Permit Hearing. <br /> <br />If a person proposes to engage in development in an <br />area of state interest or to conduct an activity of state <br />interest not previously identified, designated, or for which <br />regulations have not been adopted, the governing body alone <br />may hold one hearing for determination of identification, <br />designation and regulations as well as for granting or denying <br />the permit. No permit that is granted at the conclusion of <br />any such hearing shall be authority to engage in development <br />or to conduct an activity until the identification, designation <br />and regulations are finally determined. <br /> <br />1-407 Issuance of Permits. <br /> <br />(1) The permit shall be issued on the form adopted by <br />this jurisdiction. <br /> <br />-16- <br />
