On <br />the following page is a list of State and local agencies <br />involved in floodplain management that may be contacted to <br />obtain BFE information. Again, fees may be applicable for <br />this information. <br /> <br />For example, some state agencies, such as a Department of <br />Natural Resources or a Geological Survey, may conduct <br />floodplain studies using state funds. In some states, these <br />agencies may maintain a repository for flood data. The NFIP <br />state coordinating agency can also be contacted.
