Weber: <br /> <br />This responds to your request dated March 2003, that the Federal Emergency Management Agency <br />(FEMA) issue a revision to the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for Adams County, Colorado and <br />Incorporated Areas, The Urban Drainage and Flood Control District is reviewing your request in <br />accordance with an agreement signed with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on <br />June 4, 2001, under the FEMA Cooperative Technical Partners initiative. For more information on <br />this initiative, we encourage you to visit the dedicated portion of the FEMA Flood Hazard Mapping <br />website at www.fema.gov/mit/tsdlCTPmain.htm. <br /> <br />Pertinent infonnation about your revision request is listed below. <br /> <br />Identifier: <br /> <br />E-470 <br /> <br />Flooding Source: <br /> <br />Wadley North Creek <br /> <br />FIRM Panel(s) Affected: <br /> <br />0800lC0030 G <br /> <br />To minimize the financial burden on the policyholders while maintaining the National Flood Insurance <br />Program (NFIP) as self-sustailling, FEMA implemented a procedure to recover costs associated with <br />reviewillg and processing requests for modifications to published flood information and maps. <br />Effective September I, 2002, FEMA revised that fee schedule. A copy of the notice summarizing the <br />current fee schedule, which was published in the Federal Register, is enclosed for your information. <br />In accordance with this schedule, the fee for your request is $4,200, and must be submitted before we <br />can continue processing your request. Payment of this fee must be made in the fonn of a check or <br />money order, made payable in U.S. funds to the National Flood Insurance Program, or credit card <br />payment. For identification purposes, the case number referenced above must be included on the <br />check or money order.
