Importation from outside the natural watershed was considered
and included as an additional 4.23 square miles. The Pleasant Valley and
Lake Canal as well as the Larimer County #2 Canal were used to import
this water. The study places a 100-year storm on the basin and when
importation was included, a flow equal to a 25-year storm was carried
by these canals to Spring Creek from outside the basin.

A 25-year storm of 2.45-inches was assumed for computation of the 25-year
runoff shown in Table 4. Rainfall intensity curves, information on the
100-year design storm, watershed characteristics, 100-year hydrographs,
canal inflow hydrographs and the summary from the report are included
here.
