<br />Levee Closures <br /> <br />All openings through the levee must be provided with closure <br />devices that are structural parts of the system and designed <br />according to sound engineering prac1:ice. <br /> <br />structural Desiqn <br /> <br />Engineering analyses must dem.onstrate that no appreciable <br />erosion of the levee can be expect,~d during the base flood. The <br />stability of the levee embankment must be .~valuated.
