<br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, <br />directs the Colorado Water Conservation Board to designate' and <br />approve storm or floodwater runoff channels or basins and to make <br />such designations available to legislative bodies of local <br />jurisdiction~l and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board has reviewed said revised <br />information and data and does hereby recommend to the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board that the Board designate and approve as <br />floodplain areas those areas inundated by a 100-year flood <br />(intermediate regional flood) as described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and prof ilee in said new report, and further <br />recommends that the floodwater surface elevations and profiles <br />(only) for the Gunnison and Uncompahgre Rivers within the <br />corporate limits of the City of Delta, Delta County, Colorado, as <br />approved by Resolution No. 168, adopted December 2, 1980, be <br />rescinded 1 and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the staff of the Board recommends that the detailed <br />base mapping in the floodplain information report dated February, <br />1980, be used by the community for its administration of flood- <br />plain management programs 1 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conser- <br />vation Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, <br />this 13th day of July, 1984, that it does hereby designate and <br />approve as floodplain areas those areas described as being <br />inundated by a 100-year flood as described by the floodwater <br />surface elevations and profiles in said new report, dated <br />December 1, 1983, and does her~by rescind those said portions of <br />Resolution No. 168, dated December 2, 19801 and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED tnat the Secretary of the Board is <br />directed to send a certified c~py of this resolution to the City <br />of Delta1 the Board of County Commissioners of Delta CountY1 the <br />U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District1 and the <br />Federal Emergency Management Agency. <br /> <br />C E R T I F I CAT E <br />- <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a <br />resolution adopted by a majol::ity vote of the members of the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at <br />Denver, Colorado, on the 13th day of July, 1984, at which a <br />quorum was present. <br /> <br /> <br />.w~l!!~~ <br />
