RESOL~TION

WHEREAS, Gingery Associates, Inc., under con tract wi th the
Federal Insurance Administration, completed in January, 1979, the
"Flood Insurance Study, City of Fort Collins, Colorado," which
included Spring Creek; and

)

WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested
by the City of Fort Collins, by resolution No. 139, adopted May
18, 1979, approved and designated the floodplains descr ibed in
said report; and "

WHEREAS, a new report entitled "Major Drainageway Plan,
Spr ing Creek, Fort Collins, Lar imer County, Colorado," dated
August, 1980, has been prepared by Gingery Associates, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, said report describes and outlines the floodplain
aata and information for the storm and floodwater runoff channels
or basins of the study area; and

'WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Larimer County
and the City of Fort Collinshav~ requested the Colorado Water
Conservation Board to designate and approve the floodplain areas
as set forth in the aforesaid report; and

WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, Sections 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised

along any storm or floodwater runof f channel or bas in only after
