<br />1. BASE MAPS AND CROSS SECTION DATA WERE DERIVED FROM TWO SOURCES.
<br />BETWEEN STATION 113-t{)0 AND 201+00 ONE-FOOT CONTOUR MAPPING WAS
<br />USED BASED ON AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY FLOWN IN THE FALL OF 1985.
<br />OUTSIDE OF rnESE LIMITS, A FIELD SURVEY WAS UNDERTAKEN IN MARCH ~
<br />1987. BOTH THE FIELD SURVEY AND THE CONTOUR MAPPING WERE BY TERRA
<br />ENGINEERING, LOCATED IN DENVER. SIX MONUMENTS HAVE BEEN SET AT
<br />LOCATIONS ALONG THE CENTERLINES OF TIlE PHASE I WORK FOR HORIZONTAL
<br />AND VERTICAL CONTROL. REQUIRED SURVEYS AND STAKING TO CONSTRUCT
<br />TIlE WORK OFF OF THESE MONUMENTS SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF TIlE
<br />CONTRACTOR.

<br />2. LOCATIONS OF UTILITIES REPRESENT THE BEST-KNOWN LOCATIONS AT THE
<br />TIME OF PREPARATION OF THE DRAWINGS. TIlE CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE
<br />UTILITY COMPANIES FIELD LOCATE FACILITIES PRIOR TO BEGINNING
<br />CONSTRUCTION. THERE ARE SEVERAL LOCATIONS WHERE OVERHEAD ELECTRIC
<br />LINES ARE TO BE RAISED, POLES TREATED, AND ANCHORS RESET. TIlE
<br />CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE TIlE WORK WIlli THE UTILITY COMPANIES
