<br />2.1.6.6.4 Division of wildlife <br /> <br />The Division of Wildlife maintained the EsteB-North Fork <br />fish hatchery and provided an aSBessment of the damages to it. <br /> <br />2.1,6.7 Department of Local Affain~ <br /> <br />The Division of Local Government provided $10,075 in funding <br />to meet emergency water and sewer problems arising from the <br />flood. The Division also analyzed the fiscal capacity of various <br />local government jurisdictions withi.n the flood area in order to <br />identify those jurisdictions which were in greatest need of <br />funding assistance. The fiscal analysis was also used by the <br />state as part of its presentat ion to HUD for emergency funding. <br />Staff from the Division also f,articiated in the state committee <br />to coordinate use of emergency fundsi. <br /> <br />The <br />on site <br />observe <br />Disaster <br /> <br />Division of Housing contributed one staff member to be <br />in the Estes Park arE,a after the flood to ass ist and <br />the implement at ion by thE' federal government of the <br />Temporary Housing Program. <br /> <br />The Division of Commerce and Development provided data <br />concerning business characteristics of the Town of Estes Park and <br />contacts with the local business community, <br /> <br />2.1,6.8 Other State Departments <br /> <br />The Department of Personnel provided an assiBtant manager to <br />the one-stop Disaster Assistanl:e Center and an assistant office <br />manager to the Disaster Field Off iCE'. <br /> <br />The Department of Administ.ration provided vehicles from the <br />State motor pool to support the State Recovery Team, The <br />Division of Accounts and Controls managed a special account to <br />process state disaster/emergency funds. <br /> <br />The Office of State Planni.ng and Budgeting provided <br />financial advice to state agencies concerning the use of state <br />funds to support response and recovery act :Lvi ties. The State <br />Buildings Division assessed f:lood damages to publi.ca11y owned <br />buildings, <br /> <br />The Department of Labor and Employment was responsible for <br />implementation of the Disaster Unemployment Assistance Program. <br />The Boiler Inspection Division inspected all water damaged <br />boiler$ in the disaster area and provided technical assistance <br />for their repair, <br /> <br />The Health Department cond llcted a damage assessment of water <br />and sewer facilities. <br /> <br />-23- <br />
