Weather statement at 8:00 or 9:00 in the morning (saying. "this might be a very <br />stormy day") <br /> <br />2. Monitor weather continuously <br /> <br />3. If weather worsens, move to Level 1 of preparedness for police, fire depal1ments, <br />road crews, etc. <br /> <br />4. Monitor rain gages and streamflow gages <br /> <br />5. If weather worsens more (still before there is actual flooding), move to Lcvel 2 and <br />higher levels of preparedness <br /> <br />6. As rainfall occurs and weather and gage Information indicates possible severe <br />flooding, implement emergency nleasures (road closures, evacuations, etc.) <br /> <br />7. Fight flood as it happens <br />
