<br />WHEREAS, said new report includes approximate floodplain information for the _ <br />following streams: .. <br /> <br />Gregory Creek, Bluebell Canyon Creek, Viele Channel, Davids <br />Draw, Anderson Ditch, Little Dry Creek, Sunshine Gulch and <br />King Gulch. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said new report revises, on the basis of a new hydrologic and <br />hydraulic analysis, the previously prepared Flood Insurance Study dated August 1978 (for <br />all stream reaches); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said new report includes detailed floodplain information for the <br />Boulder County streams that is consistent with the detailed floodplain information as listed <br />in the "Existing Data Table; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Boulder County, Colorado has requested the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board to designate and approve the floodplains set forth in the aforesaid new <br />report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106(1)(c), Colorado Revised Statutes, requires the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board to assist in the prevention of floods and flood damages <br />therefrom; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 37-60-106( 1 )( c), Colorado Revised Statutes, directs the Colorado e <br />Water Conservation Board to designate and approve storm or floodwater runoff channels <br />or basins and to make such designations available to legislative bodies of local jurisdictions; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 31-23-301 and 30-28-111, Colorado Revised Statutes, provide that <br />legislative bodies of local jurisdictions may provide zoning regulations for land uses on or <br />along any storm or floodwater runoff chamlel or basin only after designation and approval <br />by the Colorado Water Conservation Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the said new report meets all of the requirements as detailed floodplain <br />information under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and Approval <br />of Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2CCR 408-1). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new report does /1ot meet all the requirements as approximate <br />floodplain information under the Board's "Rules and Regulations for the Designation and <br />Approval of Floodplains and of Storm or Floodwater Runoff Channels in Colorado" (2 CCR <br />408-1); and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board in regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado this 10th day of November, 1992 <br />that it does hereby designate and approve the 100-year floodplains as described by the <br /> <br />e <br />
