10 LOSS RATE DATA (L Cards)

HEC-1 INPUT DESCRIPTION
LOSS RATE DATA (L Cards)

One of four different rainfall loss rate procedures may be used for a
subbasin runoff computation. A different loss rate may be used for each
subbasin and/or plan. Snowmelt loss rate (LM card) may be used in
conjunction with the exponential (LE card) or uniform (LU card) loss
rates.

.

.

FIELD VARIABLE

VALUE

10.1 LU CARD - INITIAL AND UNIFORM LOSS RATE

DESCRIPTION

Col 1+2 ID

LU

1 STRTL

0,+

-1

2

0,+
or -

CNSTL

3

RTIMP

+

4-6

(

i

Card identification.

Initial rainfall/snowmelt loss in inches
(mm) for snow free ground.
