<br />Purpose and Scope <br /> <br />This report was prepared to guide local officials in planning <br />the use and regulation of the flood plain as designated so that <br />flood hazards and future ,flood damages are minimized. The report <br />includes information on historical floods, factors which influence <br />,these flood hazards and the nature and extent of probable future <br />floods. <br />The report data includes a flooded area map delineating' .the <br />lOO-year flood boundary, flood profiles and flood plain cross sections <br />showing the high water elevations for the 10-, 50-, 100-, and 500- <br />year floods at selected reference poinb;.
