DR W\ Water Resources Group, c()rnpri~ed of five Professio:lal <br />Engineers and five EITs with specific training in water engineering, provides a vast amount of kn()\vkdge 011 <br />flooding and drainage issues. We are eager to 3.ssist \Vit:l this important engi_nceIir~g project \vl11eh will provIde <br />exposure and detailed information on the flood problcns across the State of Colorado during 1999. <br /> <br />Through our professional investigations of drainage issue~" we recognize the significant need tor documentation of <br />flooding to promote awareness of Hood-related issue~ and develop plans to minimize danlagt' from future Hooding. <br />BR W has dedicated a team of flood experts tanliliar with Colorado Water Conservation Board projects to tacilitate <br />the preparation of a high qualiry- report. Our selected teJm, consisting of John Blanchard, FE (Project Oversight), <br />Dennis Arbogast, PE (Project Coordinator and Peer Review), and Robert Krehbiel, PE (Project MJnagcr), has been <br />designated based on their expert knowledge offloodplain administntion, participation in the Caloraclo Association <br />of Stormwater and Floodplain Managers organization, Jnd excellent technical writing skills. <br /> <br />There arc distinct advantages to utilizing the proven capabilities of the BR "W' Yf.I ater Resources stall for production <br />of quality documents, as recently demonstrated by the H..oaring Fork and Fryingpan Rivers Multi-Objective <br />Planning Project and the Fort Collins' Floodproofing Program developed for the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board.
