<br />October 23, 1997 <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Community Representative: <br /> <br />McLaughlin Water Engineers, Ltd. and representatives of the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board (CWCB) have prepared the enclosed Community Inventory <br />Questionnaire, In addition to the floodplain management issues, the CWCB will <br />survey other water resources organizations to receive their comments regarding <br />related issues and common interests on the state's 5tream corridors. We strongly <br />solicit your comments. By completing the questionnaire, you will assist us in <br />collecting information on floodplain management and river rehabilitation needs for <br />your community as well as other communities throughout Colorado. Statewide data <br />will be compiled and analyzed to provide recommendations for the establishment of <br />new measures and means to address flood-related and associated water interests <br />and environmental concerns and to better manage the state's floodplains and <br />waterways. A summary of the results will be provided to all participants. <br /> <br />Persona/Incentive! Everyone responding before November 14, 1997 will be entered in <br />a raffle for a pair of Avalanche tickets and an overnight stay at a Denver hotel! <br />The tickets are for the Saturday, December 6th, game against Vancouver.
