the proposed project, the width of the SFHA along Quail Creek will increase in some areas and decrease
in other areas compared to the effective SFHA width. The maximum increase in SFHA width,
approximately 30 feet, will occur approximately 900 feet downstream of South 124th Street. The
maximum decrease in SFHA width, approximately 70 feet, will occur approximately 2,600 feet
downstream of Sheridan Parkway. All areas affected by the increases in base flood WSEL and/or SFHA
width are within the limits of the Aspen Creek development property,

The submitted proposed conditions HEC-RAS hydraulic model, dated September 12, 2000, incorporated
the aforementioned proposed project along Tributary D within the City of Broomfield. As a result of the
proposed project, the base flood WSELs for Tributary D will increase and decrease compared to the
existing conditions base flood WSELs. The maximum increase in base flood WSEL, 0,5 foot, will occur
approximately 1,600 feet upstream of Sheridan Parkway, The maximum decrease in base flood WSEL,
approximately 5 feet, will occur approximately 350 feet upstream of Sheridan Parkway. As a result of
the proposed project, the width of the SFHA along Tributary D will decrease compared to the effective
SFHA width, The maximum decrease in SFHA width, approximately 90 feet, will occur approximately
500 feet upstream of Sheridan Parkway. All areas affected by the increases in base flood WSEL are
within the limits of the Aspen Creek development property.
