We employ over 3,000
people worldwide, located in over 80 off1ces across
the United States and 20 off1ces abroad. Over 1,000
staff members are located in off1ces in the Western
United States. These staff provide a broad range of
expertise in all of the technical areas necessary to
the Town of Georgetown Flood Hazard Mitigation
Plan, including hydrology, hydraulics and floodplain
management.

1

:1

1

1

1

Montgomery Watson's Denver Regional Off1ce is
comprised of 30 staff members with backgrounds
in water resources engineering, civil design,
computer modeling, environmental studies,
Colorado water rights, water and wastewater
treatment, and graphics and production. Our key
staff members have a long and successful history
of working with key water resources agencies
throughout the State of Colorado. All work on the
Flood Hazard Mitigation Plan will be performed in

1

1

1

1

1

our Denver Regional Office USing in-house
personnel.

Our Proposal

We have invested considerable effort in preparing
our proposal for the Town of Georgetown Flood
Hazard Mitigation Plan in order to demonstrate our
commitment to your project. Although we devote
some time to our firm and staff capabilities and
experience in Section 4, we have chosen to focus
the majority of the proposal on the specific issues
in your community. We have conducted field
reconnaissance along the Clear Creek and South
Clear Creek channels and overflow areas, and have
studied available topographic maps and previous
flood hazard studies such as the Flood Insurance
Study for the Town. We have gained valuable local
insight from informal meetings with Town staff and
interested citizens, and have also discussed the
project requirements with Mark Matulik of the
Colorado Water Conservation Board. As a result,
we are able to submit a proposal which:

. demonstrates a familiarity with flooding
history, problems, challenges and
opportunities in Georgetown

1

<> MONTGOMERY WATSON · 1-1
