To
address each of the topics you have requested, we have organized our proposal as follows:

Section 1 - Introduction
Section 2 - Understanding of the Project
Section 3 - Scope of Work
Section 4 - Project Team and Related Experience
Section 5 - Project Schedule and Budget

We have invested considerable effort in preparing our proposal in order to demonstrate our
commitment to your project. Through field reconnaissance and interviews we have
developed an understanding of the floodplain management challenges and opportunities in
the Town of Georgetown, and in Section 2 have outlined a number of our ideas for flood
hazard mitigation. As you will see, we have already made considerable progress in
completing several of the work tasks in the process of completing our proposal. As a result,
we are ready to begin work immediately and can produce preliminary work products in as
little as two weeks.

We have enjoyed getting to know you and the Town staff through preparation of our
proposal, and are anxious to assist you in preparing a holistic, practical flood hazard
mitigation plan for Georgetown which will pave the way for obtaining future
implementation grant funds from the State of Colorado and the Federal Emergency

1401-17th Street
Suite 600
Denver, Colorado
80202-1244

Tel: 303 382 5000
Fax: 3033825001

Serving the World's Environmental Needs
