C. <br /> <br />Dear Sir. <br /> <br />Weare one of the smaller ditohes in this system and we have an ade- <br />quate supply of water most of the time, but we are 'Vitally interest- <br />ed in flood oontrol. <br /> <br />We are a small oompany and oannot put up an ,expensive dam. We luive <br />always had a brush and rook dam and whenever a flood oomes down the <br />river it washes our dam away and we are out of irrigation water until <br />~ oan put it back. <br /> <br />There are 19 stookholders in this oompany who own 350 aores of irri- <br />gated land and it is a big expense on us to have to replaoe our dam <br />every time ,there is a flood. <br /> <br />At a Board of Direotors meeting held on the twenby-sixthday of Febru- <br />ary, 19LJ4, the following resolutions were passeds ' <br /> <br />"Be it resolved by the Board of Direotorsthat the <br />U'S. Engmeers and, Bureau of Reolamation work out a <br />program that will affordtha most flood proteotion and <br />water oonservation and be it further resolved that this <br />oompany will pay its proportionate share for suoh bene- <br />fits.
