This map <br /> <br />is labeled and referred to herein as plate # A. <br /> <br />The flood area referred to is not subject to <br /> <br />floods caused by cloud bursts or heavy rains of long <br /> <br />duration; except s~ch rains occur during the regular <br /> <br />heavy spring run off from the melting snow. <br /> <br />The area is however, damaged each and every year <br /> <br />from this regular run off which occurs annually during <br /> <br />the period from May 15th to June 15th. <br /> <br />The affected flood area and as shown on plate # A <br /> <br />includes 27 miles of the Yampa River from the county <br /> <br />line to the mouth of Elk River, 26 miles from the mouth <br /> <br />of Elk Riyer to Yellow Jacket Reservoir site and 22 <br /> <br />miles in the Elk River Valley.
