<br />. . <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />With reference to flood control and water conserva- <br /> <br /> <br />tion, there is included herewith a tabulation of 27 known <br /> <br /> <br />feasable storage projects located on the Yampa River and <br /> <br /> <br />tributaries in Routt County of an aggregate storage capa- <br /> <br /> <br />city of 501,983 acre feet. <br /> <br /> <br />The combined storage capacity of presently construct- <br /> <br /> <br />ed Reservoir 6,803 acre feet. Present average annual di- <br /> <br /> <br />versions by ditches amounts to 200,000 acre feet. The mean <br /> <br /> <br />annual run off of the Yampa River area in Routt County, ex- <br /> <br /> <br />clusive of Trout Creek is 767,5Ge acre feet. <br /> <br /> <br />Following is an outline of data to be added to the <br /> <br /> <br />reports as prepared in continuation to and referring to <br /> <br /> <br />the paper presented to the Board of Army Engineers at <br />Craig, Colorado September 17th, 1938. <br /> <br /> <br />Accompanying this paper are five plates, as follows:- <br /> <br /> <br />Plate 1:- A map of the watershed above the Yellow Jacket <br /> <br /> <br />Reservoir site prepared about 1907 from data obtained be- <br /> <br /> <br />tween 1903 and that time is further explained in the title. <br /> <br /> <br />Plate 2:- A preliminary map of the Yellow Jacket Reser- <br /> <br /> <br />voir at the 180 fcot contour, also a portion of th~utlet <br /> <br /> <br />ditch is shovm. <br /> <br /> <br />Plate 3:- Loc~tion map of the Yellow Jacket Reservoir, <br /> <br /> <br />180 foot contour.
