Part time assistance from police, sheriff and <br />ci viI defense personnel is pr'ovided throughout the year. <br /> <br />Lena Gulch, Colorado <br />The warning system at Lena Gulch, located near Golden, ColoradO, was <br />installed in 1984. The project was funded by the Urban Drainage and Flood <br />Control District and includes six rain gages and three stream gages wi th <br />radio telemetry capablli ties. The collected data is processed through a <br />micrO-computer using software provided through the National Weather <br />Service's ALERT system. The cost of the system totals approximately <br />$100,000 which is broken down in Table 15. <br /> <br />-40- <br />
