The scope of the report is limited to basic hydrology and setting
forth design hydrographs at general key points, however, certain
recommendations are in order for these problem areas.
The central portion of Town, Lake Yuma drainage basin, has inadequate
local drainage due to very minimal street slopes or grades and almost no
storm sewers. The storm drainage system for this area should be reviewed
and specific plans conceived for alleviation of the problems. At this
time, the outlet facilities for Lake Yuma are inadequate to discharge
any significant storm flow and especially the 100 year event. A suitable
outlet facility based upon operational characteristics should be
designed for Lake Yuma, Legion Pond, and the Pheasant Ridge Pond.
The area north of the railroad tracks has essentially no storm
water facilities and significant ponding occurs with a moderate to intense
storm.

-19-
