<br />WHEREAS, El Paso County and incorporated communities should continue to regulate new <br />development and construction in floodplain areas on a case-by-case basis based on the information <br />presented in said new Flood Insurance Study and Hydrology Addendum, or based on the best available <br />floodplain information that is accessible to the County; and <br /> <br />DESIGNATION AND APPROVAL ACTION <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in <br />regular meeting assembled in Northglenn, Colorado, this 24th day of January 2001, that it does hereby <br />designate and approve as detailed floodplain information the lOO-year floodplain delineations as listed <br />in Table 2 for El Paso County and incorporated areas contained in said new Flood Insurance Study <br />dated March 17, 1997 and said new Hydrology Addendum dated May 2001, with included Flood <br />Insurance Rate Maps; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby designate and approve as <br />approximate floodplain information the lOO-year floodplain delineations as listed in Table 3 for El Paso <br />County and incorporated areas contained in said Flood Insurance Study dated March 17, 1997 with <br />included Flood Insurance Rate Maps; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board does hereby rescind the lOO-year floodplain <br />delineations as listed in Table 5 for El Paso County and Incorporated Areas contained in said Flood <br />Insurance Study dated March 17, 1997 with included Flood Insurance Rate Maps; and <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority vote of the <br />members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at Northglenn, <br />Colorado on the 24th day of January 2001, at which a quorum was present. <br /> <br />Rod Kuharich, Director <br /> <br />res-539.doc twb <br /> <br />7 <br />
