Bilyeu, to review
Sterling's administration of floodplain management requirements and
to assist in understanding NFIP requirements. His assistance was
appreciated.

Floodplain development approved since December 1, 1991, meets
Sterling Code provisions, excepting the 402 South 2nd Street
permit. We understood that approval of this was the result of an
oversight and that corrective administrative steps have been taken
to assure non-repetition. We have received the December 14, 1993,
letter giving notice to Mr. Tennant of insurance rates Commensurate
with the increased risk with elevation below the required base
flood level.

We have enclosed the Community Rating System (CRS) information
requested. The phone number for Mr. Lyle Koller is (303) 759-3511.
Please contact us at 235-4830 if any assistance is needed.

sincerely,

8~

Program Specialist
Mitigation Division

Enclosure

cc: Mr. James D.
